There is no ‘one size fits all’ for Heritage Lottery Fund activity planning support. We work with clients to tailor the most cost effective and successful mix for you. This maximises the skills and resources you already have in-house and brings in to add value to the areas where you most need support.
Here are some of the areas we can support you with in your HLF actvity planning:
- Research and evaluation
- Audience consultation
- Review and summarise research, evaluation or consultation findings
- Consultation report writing
- Activity plan development and writing
- Coaching and mentoring
- Staff or volunteer training
We can manage the entire consultation and activity planning and writing process on your behalf, or you can choose to do some or all of the work yourself with our help and support.
We offer consultation and mentoring packages, ideal for those who want to develop their staff and volunteers internally whilst doing the whole activity planning and consultation process themselves, by providing technical help and support rather than hands-on help.
Some of the sites and organisations we have recently supported in successfully applying for funding:
- National Museum of the Royal Navy
- RHS Wisley
- Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust
- Shakespeare Birthplace Trust
- Don Catchment Rivers Trust
- Freshwater Habitats Trust
We advise that you contact us as soon as possible to discuss your project and evaluation requirements. We limit the number of projects we take on in order to guarantee we have sufficient time to dedicate our attention to each project.
Costs are based on requirements and start from around £5000. No project is ever too small, if we are excited by what you are doing, we will find a way to suit your budget. It is free to chat, so get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
‘The Activity Plan we submitted was well beyond what we expected to produce against such a short timetable. However, beyond its thoroughness it also added real clarity to the project with a vision and aims, from which all else naturally flowed.’
Matthew Sheldon, National Museum of the Royal Navy
‘Heritage Insider offer an excellent service to support HLF applications. Their detailed knowledge and experience of the processes and requirements involved were extremely valuable in preparing the bid. They prepared a thoroughly professional, detailed and comprehensive Activity Plan to a high standard.’
Richard Roper, Llanelli Goods Shed Project
‘Worth every penny. We learnt a huge amount of stuff about engagement and HLF processes which we are enthusing others with.’
John Housham, Don Catchment River Trust
‘The best thing we did in our HLF development year was to engage Kate. Endlessly knowledgeable, helpful and enthusiastic, she more than delivered on all the things we originally asked – and provided a huge amount of extra advice and support that guided us through the whole process.’
Penny Williams, Freshwater Habitats Trust
‘Kate and her team produced an outstanding Activity Plan which secured Round 2 funding to deliver our Heritage Ability project. Kate’s enthusiasm, knowledge and experience provided us with just the right amount of support and challenge, which was always delivered with a smile. We couldn’t have done it without her!’
Debbie Stafford, Living Options Devon
